Missions

We believe missions is largely defined by crossing barriers: cultural, geographic, language to share the Gospel and make disciples. It’s about praying, mobilizing, going, giving, and partnering in order to fulfill the Great Commission through cross-cultural evangelism, church planting and scripture translation.

Casa de Dios

The purpose of this trip is to build a home and latrine for a needy family in the Tijuana, Mexico area and witness for the Lord in the immediate neighborhood. Total cost per person is less than $100 which includes food, lodging and gas.  Must have a current U.S. passport to join. Contact Ron Smith at 626.285.2564 for more details.

Love Zimbabwe Trip

Every year SMCC forms a team to go on a short term mission trip to Zimbabwe, which have resulted in the Love Zimbabwe Initiative partnership with the Assemblies of God Church in Binga, Zimbabwe. The team provides pastoral and leadership training, ministry to widows and orphans, basic medical services, along with whatever else the Lord puts in their path. If you are interested in going on the next trip, please contact Pat Swanson at [email protected].
