Children's Ministry

PARENTS ARE PRIMARY

Our Children’s Ministry Program is an extension of our Family Ministry. We believe that our parents are primary in the spiritual development of their children and that it is our job is to inspire, equip and support our families as we journey the path of discipleship together.

WHICH OPTION BEST FITS YOUR NEEDS?

Some parents like their family to worship together, and children are always welcome to join their parents in the main worship center. Our service runs about an hour: from 9:30 to 10:30am. During this time we sing together, pray, and listen to a Biblical teaching. We occasionally have family worship Sundays where this is especially encouraged.

If you prefer, we do provide a children’s program during the  service to allow our parents the opportunity to fully engage in the church service. During this time, we provide an opportunity for children to grow spiritually and build community in ways that are appropriate to their age in our Early Childhood (link to Tree House) and Elementary (link to Kid Port) programs.

LEARNING AND APPLYING THE SCRIPTURES

Our curriculum provides our children with an opportunity to worship and to connect to God through the “Big God Story” that threads through the Bible. Instead of merely telling the story of Noah, we use that story to illustrate God’s faithfulness to us. Instead of telling the story of David and Goliath, we illustrate that God has the victory in our lives. We strive to help our children cultivate a relationship with God and to show them that he is just as relevant in our lives today as he was in the lives of our Biblical heroes.

YOUR CHILD'S SAFETY AND SECURITY IS OUR HIGHEST PRIORITY

Our programs are run by friendly, well-trained, well-screened staff. All volunteers are background checked and have completed Ministry Safe training. Our computerized and coded check in system helps us insure that your child is dropped off and picked up only by you or an pre-approved adult.

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

We ask every family to complete a family registration form upon visiting our program. If you’d like to fill this form out in advance, follow the link here. Otherwise, we can provide you with the simple, one-page form at our check-in kiosk upon your arrival.
